Fall 2015 Thursday Coed Kickball Goodale Park/Southwood Park

The HeartBreakers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in their 18-5 victory over the MS Consultants. The HeartBreakers offense was clicking from the start and it allowed them take an early 10 run lead. The MS Consultants were able to tack on a few runs late but were never able to threaten the HeartBreakers. The Consultants were excited to score their first runs of the year and will look to build on their improvement moving forward.

Only playing with 8, Undetermined was still able to come away with a close 4-2 win over Kickin It Old School. Both teams battled throughout the contest, as it was tied 2-2 heading into the late innings. A big Undetermined homerun gave them the 3-2 lead and they were able to add on another insurance run late. Undetermined also played exceptional defense, holding Kickin It Old School to only 2 runs while being short 2 defenders in the field.

The Misfits came away with a 12-9 win over the IV Leaguers in an exciting high scoring game. Both teams were able to light up the scoreboard but the Misfits were able to pack the last punch. The IV Leaguers were trying to get a rally going in the bottom of the 9th but came up short of the comeback. The Misfits picked up their second win in a row, but will have a tough match up against Bad News Brews next week to finish off the regular season.

The Lonestar Stunners fell behind early, but that didn't stop them from going home at the end of the night with the W. The IV Leaguers were able to put up a run in the 2nd inning to take a 1-0 lead that they carried into the 6th inning. Unfortunately for them, that is when the Lonestar offense woke up. The Lonestars were able to score in each the 6th, 7th and 8th innings all while not allowing the IV Leaguers to get on the scoreboard again. Both teams showed off some great defensive plays and stands, but the Lonestar Stunners were able to do enough to come away with the victory.
